In Grade 11, the focus is on developing higher-level thinking and exploring global perspectives through close reading. Students might study Shakespeare, classic novels, or world literature.

In Grade 12, they dive even deeper into analyzing themes, identity, and culture through diverse voices, including Indigenous authors. Teachers also include creative writing, essay practice, and discussions that prepare students for university-level English.
